Recently, the winner list of the 49th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions in 2022 was announced. The "Full casing full rotary drilling rig" exhibited by China Railway Fifth Survey and Design Institute Group Corporation Limited won the gold medal, which is also the highest award won by CRCC in the exhibition.

The International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, founded in 1973, is one of the world's three largest invention exhibitions (Geneva, Pittsburgh and Nuremberg). By 2022, 49 sessions have been successfully held. This large-scale international exhibition is jointly organized by the Swiss Federal Government, the State Government of Geneva, the Municipal government of Geneva and the World Intellectual Property Organization. It is also one of the largest invention exhibitions with the longest history in the world.

The exhibition attracted about 800 scientific and technological achievements from well-known universities, research institutions and enterprises from 25 countries and regions, including China, the United States and Germany. In addition, the world's top 500 enterprises and intellectual property institutions of many countries gather online to seek further cooperation in patent and industry.

The exhibition project "Full casing full rotary drilling rig," makes a breakthrough in the construction technology bottleneck under the condition of the low headroom, that is, the clear height of construction drops to less than 4 meters from the original one of more than 6 m, saving the vertical construction space of more than 35% in comparison with that by the conventional equipment of the same kind; the perpendicularity error of the cast-in-place pile body is controlled within 3 ‰, the casing perpendicularity is precisely controlled, and the pile quality is good, achieving hole formation under low clearance construction by full casing full rotary drilling rig, and filling the blank of similar construction equipment at home and abroad.
